If Americans Refuse, Escalation is Inevitable: Lukashenko

If Americans refuse to make attempts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, escalation is inevitable, stated Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

Lukashenko gave an interview to American Newsmax TV, hosted by Greta Van Susteren. In response to a question about when the conflict in Ukraine will be resolved, Lukashenko said, “If Americans refuse this attempt to resolve the conflict, escalation is inevitable.”

Earlier, it was reported that the United States intends to lift sanctions imposed on Belarusian potash producers, which is seen as another signal of potential warming relations between Washington and Minsk, as reported by the Associated Press.
