Bright Armenia to Participate in Upcoming Parliamentary Elections
Bright Armenia will participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections. This was announced by the party's president, Edmon Marukyan, during the party's anniversary assembly.
"Elections are expected soon, and I am now putting the following question to an open vote: to authorize the leadership of the party to begin preparatory work and start negotiations to participate in the elections with larger, stronger poles. The majority voted in favor, which means we will participate in the elections," said Marukyan.
According to Edmon Marukyan, it is primarily important for citizens to take part in the upcoming elections, as in the polling stations where participation exceeds 50%, the ruling Civil Contract party loses. Secondly, opposition forces need to consolidate and participate together in the election. The government has a maximum of 40% of the vote with everything it has done, and that is if the participation is low. However, if participation is high, that percentage will be even lower. This means that there is around 60% of the population with opposing views, and the opposition field must present itself with larger poles. With the participation of larger forces, the government will lose, and these larger forces will form the government.
