Zelensky Appeals to the U.S.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has proposed a halt to military operations during the election process and has requested the United States to discuss this with the Russian side, according to ArbatMedia.

During an online speech at the 'Volunteer Coalition' meeting, Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine is ready to hold elections if necessary security conditions are met. He noted that the U.S. could play a significant role in this matter.

“We are ready to work with President Trump in any format. If President Trump talks more about the elections in Ukraine, I want to say that where it is open, we can try to hold elections. Ukraine is not hiding from democracy,” Zelensky stated.

On December 9, Donald Trump announced that it was time to organize presidential elections in Ukraine. On the same day, Zelensky expressed his willingness to conduct a vote within 60-90 days if Western partners help ensure security.
