Trump Holds Phone Calls with Leaders of Thailand and Cambodia
U.S. President Donald Trump has held phone conversations with the leaders of Thailand and Cambodia amid escalating tensions between the two countries, reports Fox Business, citing the White House.
“A White House official informed Fox that President Trump spoke today with the leaders of Thailand and Cambodia,” wrote Fox Business correspondent Edward Lawrence on the X social media platform.
According to the latest reports, Thailand has lost three civilians and nine military personnel, while more than 120 people have been injured during border clashes. Cambodian authorities have reported the deaths of 11 civilians, including one infant, and 74 injuries.
As a result of the hostilities, nearly 400,000 residents have been evacuated from Thailand's border provinces, while over 300,000 people in Cambodia have been forced to leave their homes.
