Snoop Dogg Appointed Honorary Coach of the U.S. Team

American rapper Snoop Dogg has been appointed as the honorary coach of the U.S. team for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, according to the U.S. Olympic Committee's website.

It is noteworthy that in 2024, Snoop Dogg worked as a journalist at the Summer Games in Paris. The musician also carried the Olympic flame prior to the opening ceremony and later performed at the closing ceremony. The rapper has won two Emmy Awards for his contributions to coverage of the Olympic Games.

Snoop Dogg will be the first honorary coach for Team USA in a voluntary position aimed at supporting and inspiring American athletes outside of competition.
