Russia Welcomes Turkey's Desire to Contribute to Peace in Ukraine: Peskov

Russia welcomes Turkey's willingness to contribute to a peaceful resolution in Ukraine, announced Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president.

“The President of Turkey spoke in his address about Turkey's readiness and desire to continue mediating efforts and to contribute to the peace process, which our country welcomes,” Peskov told reporters.

The Russian president's press secretary also added that the leaders of Central Asian countries, who participated in the 'International Forum on Peace and Trust' held in Ashgabat, hardly mentioned Ukraine in their speeches.
