Iraq and Russia Presidents to Coordinate Efforts for Global Peace
The Presidents of Iraq and Russia, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid and Vladimir Putin, have agreed to collaborate in overcoming challenges that hinder the maintenance of global peace, as stated in a press release from the Iraqi leader's office following negotiations at a forum in Ashgabat.
“During the meeting, recent regional and international developments were also discussed in light of the rapidly evolving situation in the region and the growing challenges to security and stability. It has been decided to continue consultations and joint coordination to overcome these challenges with the aim of preserving international peace and stability,” the statement read.
