Electric Shock Used Against Villager, Hands Tied with Rope: Details
On December 11, operational information regarding robbery was received at the Gugark Community Police Department. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As a result of initiated operational-investigative measures, it was revealed that a 46-year-old resident of the Darpas village violently attacked a 35-year-old villager at his home, using an electric shock device. Following the assault, he tied the victim's hands with a rope and demanded that he transfer the money available in his bank account to his own account.
The 35-year-old victim reported that he transferred $10,000 to the 46-year-old assailant's account.
A report has been filed by the 35-year-old resident of Darpas. The 46-year-old man has been arrested and taken to the Gugark division, after which the necessary documents were submitted to the Investigative Department of Lori Province.
