Zelensky Discusses Possibility of Presidential Elections in Ukraine with Rada Representatives

Vladimir Zelensky has discussed the possibility of holding presidential elections in war-affected Ukraine with representatives of the Verkhovna Rada and is awaiting suggestions from lawmakers.

“I will not allow any manipulation against Ukraine. If our partners, including our key partner in Washington, are speaking so much and so specifically about elections in Ukraine and the legal regime of martial law, then we must provide a Ukrainian legal answer to every question and every doubt. It’s not easy, but we certainly don’t need pressure on this issue,” said the President of Ukraine in an evening video address.
