Trial of Stepanakert Resident Karen Avanesyan Underway in Azerbaijan

The trial of Karen Avanesyan, a resident of Stepanakert, is currently taking place in Azerbaijan. According to APA, the session was held at the Ganja (Gandzak) Court for Serious Crimes, presided over by Ilkin Ibishov.

It should be noted that the circumstances surrounding the accusations against Avanesyan (born in 1967) are known solely through information provided by the Azerbaijani authorities. He is accused of attempting to murder two police officers. The incident occurred on September 14.
