Today, I officially approached the Cadastre Committee and requested data on the prices of other townhouses with the same area sold in that neighborhood. It turns out that two of the houses were sold for 50 million drams, which means cheaper than what I purchased! The highest price ever was 60 million drams, which was sold in 2025. I would like to remind you that I acquired the real estate in July 2024 with a mortgage for a duration of 20 years. It took me only a few actions to determine the real value of the houses sold in that area. Why didn’t the news outlet, which claims to investigate journalism, carry out this simple action of obtaining the actual sale figures from the Cadastre Committee to understand that I not only did not receive a discount of $55,000, but actually bought the house at a higher price than a few other buyers? My acquired property among the sold houses is completely within the market value. Or perhaps the purpose of Hetq was not investigation and journalism, but defamation and lies. What do we call what the Hetq news outlet did?
