Fire at Bank on Paruir Sevak Street: One Injured

On December 11, at 06:18, the National Crisis Management Center received an alert about smoke observed at one of the banks located on Paruir Sevak Street in Yerevan. This information comes from a statement released by the rescue service.

"A response was dispatched to the scene with four fire and rescue teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations responding under the '1 BIS' emergency classification, as well as operational groups from the National Crisis Management Center and the division for organizing firefighting and rescue operations. It was determined that a fire had erupted in the lobby (100 sq. m) of the bank on Paruir Sevak Street," the report stated.

The fire was contained by 07:00 and extinguished by 07:09. The lobby was partially burned (70 sq. m), and there was heat damage to separated office rooms within the lobby (30 sq. m). Rescue teams managed to bring a civilian out and assist them to an ambulance; the injured person has been hospitalized at a medical center.
