Ukrainian Ambassador Summoned to Israeli Foreign Ministry After Criticizing Netanyahu
The Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel, Yevgeny Korniychuk, has been summoned to the Israeli Foreign Ministry for a reprimand following critical comments made about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu had previously expressed a positive view of his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which has raised concerns.
In an interview with Ynet, Korniychuk expressed outrage over Netanyahu's recent statement that his regular communications and personal connections with Putin serve the national interests of the Jewish state.
