See What Is Happening: Armenia Has Become Much More Interesting to the World, Papoyan

After the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Armenia has become much more interesting to the world. This was stated by the Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, in a conversation with reporters while in Germany as part of a delegation led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. According to an Armenpress correspondent, Papoyan said,

“Armenia has become interesting to the world primarily because of the economic opportunities that exist today. Look at what is happening. The entire section from Georgia to Norway is essentially closed, and also from Armenia to the south, all the way to the basin of the Indian Ocean, is again closed. The only route that connects the Asian part with Europe, the so-called Middle Corridor, remains and runs through the territories of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia. Now, European partners are very interested in having it go through Turkey and reach Europe. Meetings with business people in Berlin and Hamburg showed that everyone was interested in when the Armenian-Turkish border will open and when the Armenia-Azerbaijan border will open,”

the Minister highlighted that the West is waiting for the unblocking of these routes.
