Importance of the 'Armenia-EU Partnership Strategic Agenda' Document Discussed with Greek Foreign Ministry Representative
Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister Davit Karapetyan held a meeting with Andreas Friganas, head of the Political Affairs Directorate of the Greek Foreign Ministry. During the meeting, the parties extensively addressed the bilateral relations between Armenia and Greece, emphasizing the importance of deepening cooperation between Armenia and Greece within the framework of the Armenia-EU partnership. They highlighted the significance of the 'Armenia-EU Partnership Strategic Agenda' document signed on December 2.
The parties discussed prospects for enhancing cooperation in various sectors, including economic, educational, cultural, and other areas of mutual interest. Both sides underscored the importance of institutionalizing peace established in the South Caucasus as a result of the Washington Agreements and the unblocking of regional communications.
Davit Karapetyan and Andreas Friganas also discussed the effective overcoming of challenges encountered on the path of democratic development and the steps taken to strengthen Armenia's resilience in this context.
They addressed the preparatory work for the European Political Community summit scheduled to take place in Yerevan in May of the coming year.
