First and Foremost, Aram I Must Renounce the Status of Parallel Catholicos: Trdat Sargsyan

Aram I, the Catholicos, accuses the authorities of Armenia of dividing the Church, yet the reality is that it is his leadership that maintains the Church's division. This was stated by Trdat Sargsyan, a member of the National Assembly from the 'Civil Contract' faction, on his Facebook page.

‘If Aram I wants to talk about unity, he must first renounce the status of parallel Catholicos and participate in the genuine renewal of the Church. Division does not disappear through statements; it is eliminated through responsibility and concrete actions,’ wrote the MP.
