Negotiations Have Reached a Deadlock: Zelensky
Mariam Z.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has stated that negotiations have reached a deadlock over territorial issues. “The U.S., Russia, and Ukraine have different viewpoints, and we do not have a unified stance on the Donbas matter. Participants in the U.S. peace initiative negotiations have yet to reach an agreement on territorial issues. Certain elements of the U.S. plan require further discussion on a number of sensitive topics, including security guarantees for the war-affected country and control over the eastern regions. Kyiv insists on signing a separate agreement with its Western allies, primarily the United States, regarding security guarantees,” said the Ukrainian leader.
