Elon Musk Calls for the Dissolution of the European Union

Elon Musk has called for the dissolution of the European Union. “The EU should be abolished, and sovereignty returned to individual countries so that governments can better represent their people,” he wrote on X.

He also added that European bureaucracy is “slowly suffocating Europe to death.” Musk noted that the EU has exhausted its usefulness, stifling European economies, cultures, and identities.

“Restoring sovereignty to nation-states is not destruction but is the only possible way to save Europe. So that France can again be France, Germany can again be Germany, Italy can again be Italy, rather than faceless provinces of a new globalist empire,” he stated.
