Scandalous Incident at Nubarashen Penitentiary

A shocking scandal has occurred at the Nubarashen Penitentiary of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, which has been concealed by the Penitentiary Service. This is reported by 168.am.

Karen Grigoryan, the head of the operational department of Nubarashen Prison, allegedly assaulted one of the staff members in his office, alongside the operational officers of the department (the names are currently withheld for understandable reasons). The assault was reportedly accompanied by grotesque insults.

According to our information, this is not the first incident of its kind. These individuals routinely insult, offend, and physically assault prison staff, leading many of them to be dismissed from their positions precisely for this reason,” the outlet writes.

Auroranews.am contacted the press spokesperson of the Ministry of Justice. They informed us that they do not currently have any information regarding this incident, but added that they would reach out to us if they obtain any updates.
