Murderer Steals Gold Jewelry and Pawns It: New Details Emerge on the Murder of 42-Year-Old Woman
New details have emerged regarding the murder of 42-year-old Armine Mkrtumyan. According to News.am, after allegedly killing Armine Mkrtumyan, the suspected murderer stole her necklace and earrings, and subsequently pawned them.
Information received indicates that the jewelry was also recovered as a result of the efforts of criminal police.
It is important to recall that on December 3, community police in Vagharshapat discovered a body in a field area of the Griboedov community. The officers from the main criminal police department and the Armavir regional division, in collaboration with community policemen, conducted operational-investigative measures which led to the identification of the deceased as Armine Mkrtumyan, born in 1983.
A report about her disappearance was made on December 1. On December 4, a 35-year-old resident of Armavir village was apprehended in the town of Metsamor on suspicion of murder. This individual confessed to murdering the 42-year-old woman. He and the relevant documents have been submitted to the investigative body, and the investigation is ongoing.
