Road Conditions in Armenia: Travel Exclusively with Winter Tires

The Rescue Service reports that the roadways in Armenia are mostly passable. Due to reconstruction work on the Korea Gorge road and the risk of rockfalls, the road has been temporarily closed to traffic since August 19.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

According to information received from the Emergency Department of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
