Zelensky Announces Next Steps Following Putin-Whittaker Meeting
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that representatives from Kyiv will brief their European partners on the outcomes of yesterday's discussions with the American side in Moscow. The message was shared on his Telegram channel following comments from Rustem Umerov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
According to Umerov, meetings between national security advisors of European leaders are expected to take place today. Umerov and the Chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Andriy Koval, will represent Ukraine.
“This is our ongoing coordination with our partners, and we are ensuring the full activity of the negotiation process. Ukrainian representatives will inform their counterparts in Europe about what was revealed yesterday following discussions with the American side in Moscow, as well as discuss the necessary European component of the security architecture,” Zelensky wrote.
Furthermore, Ukraine will prepare for a meeting with representatives of Donald Trump in the United States, the state leader noted.
