December 2 is an important day for the world, stated Kirill Dmitriev, the special representative of the President of Russia for foreign investment and economic cooperation, and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

“It is an important day for the world. The team that has developed President Trump’s peace agreement on Gaza will be in Moscow to advance Trump’s peace agenda for Ukraine,” Dmitriev wrote on X.

It is noted that today Vladimir Putin will meet with the U.S. president's special envoy, Steve Witkoff. The main topic will be the resolution of the Ukrainian crisis, including U.S. proposals on this matter. As previously reported by the press secretary of the Russian leader, Dmitry Peskov, the meeting will take place at noon. Initial footage of the conversation will be available to the media.
