Production of Several Dairy Products by Arzni Dairy Suspended
The inspectors of the Food Safety Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia conducted an inspection at the dairy production facility owned by "Arzni Dairy" LLC (located on Moldova Street, Yerevan). During the inspection, samples were taken from the available product types and sent for laboratory examination.
The investigation revealed that dangerous food products were being produced at this dairy plant. Specifically, samples of the product types "Milk Cream Rejan 60%" and "Dairy Product Made using Yogurt Technology" were found to contain mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic bacteria (MAFANMK), and coliform bacteria (E. coli), respectively, all produced on 06.11.2025. Similarly, the sample of "Cheese with Raisins 9%" showed the presence of spoilage organisms, also produced on the same date. These products did not comply with the requirements set by the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union.
By the decision of the head of the inspection body, the production of certain functions at the "Arzni Dairy" facility, namely the production of "Milk Cream Rejan 60%", "Dairy Product Made using Yogurt Technology", and "Cheese with Raisins 9%", has been suspended. The operator has been instructed to undertake the necessary measures to bring these products into compliance with legislative requirements. A deadline has been set for addressing the identified violations.
