Video: Almost Completely Drained Sarsang Reservoir in Artsakh, Hakhikyan

The Armenian Aliq reports that the Sarsang Reservoir in Artsakh has almost completely drained. This not only signifies an environmental disaster but also widespread electricity outages in Artsakh, which will lead to further issues. This information comes from interethnic relations expert Nairi Hakhikyan.

“I understand Azerbaijan's goals—to force Artsakh to receive electricity and gas from Azerbaijan. This will be another pressure lever in the enemy's hands. I have sent inquiries to the relevant authorities in Armenia regarding the construction process and timelines of the new power line from Syunik to Stepanakert. This is our smallest response to Azerbaijan; alongside this, there are other factors we need to utilize to restrain the enemy,” Hakhikyan wrote.

Earlier, we reported that the Sarsang Reservoir in Artsakh has taken on this appearance because the Azerbaijani side has prevented Armenian specialists from addressing the accident on the only high-voltage line from Armenia to Artsakh through the Agavno-Berdzor section for the past three months.
