Fake WhatsApp Account Created in Name of Inspectorate Head Garegin Khachatryan

The Inspectorate for Urban Development, Technical and Fire Safety of the Republic of Armenia has announced that a fake WhatsApp account has been created in the name of its head, Garegin Khachatryan, through which messages are being sent to various individuals.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Inspectorate, they stated, “We officially announce that the mentioned account has no relation to Garegin Khachatryan and is a clear manifestation of fraud. This action is strongly condemnable and is subject to legal responsibility.”

They urged everyone to be cautious, not to respond to such suspicious messages, and not to provide personal information through them. They assured that the perpetrators of the fraud will be identified and held accountable in accordance with the law.
