Fire Breaks Out Between Urasar and Katnaghbyur Communities, Now Contained

On November 29, at 18:59, the crisis management center of the Lori regional rescue department received information about smoke observed between the communities of Urasar and Katnaghbyur. This information comes from the press release provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It was noted that an operational group from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, two firefighting teams, and two operational groups were dispatched to the scene. It became clear that a grassland area was on fire.

On November 30, a large number of rescuers, ecopatruls, volunteers from the 'Lore' rescue squad, and local residents were involved in containment efforts. The fire was contained by 19:30. Additional information regarding the incident will be provided.
