Surene Harutyunyan, a member of the Armenian national karate team, has claimed a bronze medal at the World Karate Championship.

Competing in the 75 kg weight category, Harutyunyan faced off against Thomas Scott from the USA for the bronze medal in Cairo, Egypt. Harutyunyan achieved victory with a score of 2:0, making him the third prizewinner of the championship.
