The Bishop of the Artsakh Diocese Comments on Meeting with Nikol Pashinyan

The Bishop of the Artsakh Diocese, Vrtanes Abrahanyan, has commented on his meeting with Nikol Pashinyan.

"Considering this circumstance, I feel it is my duty to state the following: 1. I participated in the meeting as a member of the episcopal delegation of the Mother See, and it has no relation and cannot have any connection with the Artsakh issue and the core concerns of our compatriots. 2. I have been, and will always be, alongside my community in the struggle for their violated rights. 3. I am committed to my pastoral vow towards the Armenians of Artsakh and believe that, with God's mercy, and the unwavering will of our compatriots, together with the wise men of our state and society, we will fulfill our cherished dreams.

I am convinced that we will continue our struggle together for the protection of our violated rights and the realization of our cherished dream of returning to our homeland," he said.
