Kyiv Faces Power Outage Again: 500,000 Residents Left Without Electricity

The capital of Ukraine is plunged into darkness again, with half of its population affected. The city administration has reported that 500,000 people are without heating and electricity. Similar issues are being observed in the neighboring Kharkiv region, where 8,000 residents are without power.

Amidst the outages, authorities have once again started short-term electricity supply measures. Explosions have been reported at power plants in the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Poltava regions. Throughout the day, the Russian Ministry of Defense has announced strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

A week ago, a blackout disrupted a football match in Odesa, temporarily halting the game.
