Progress in Armenian-Azerbaijani Relations: EU Representative

The European Union's Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Magdalena Grono, has stated that Armenia and Azerbaijan can make progress in resolving unresolved humanitarian and political issues. According to her, the new atmosphere between the parties, as well as the positive steps taken in recent months, create a foundation for further progress.

“We hope that based on the new atmosphere and a series of successful bilateral steps, the parties will be able to achieve progress on unresolved issues,” Grono said. She emphasized that resolving all contentious issues, including the most sensitive ones, is necessary for achieving lasting peace.
