Louvre Museum to Increase Ticket Prices by 45% for Tourists Outside EU
The Louvre Museum in Paris will increase ticket prices by 45% for most tourists from outside the European Union. According to reports from Western media, this increase is expected to boost the museum's annual revenue by 15-20 million euros, which will help fund the museum's restoration efforts.
Starting January 14, visitors from countries outside the European Economic Area (including the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway) will pay 32 euros. Group tickets with certified guides will cost 28 euros, announced a museum spokesperson on Friday.
