The Italian Government Lifts Restrictions on Movement Between Regions and Travel In and Out of the Country Starting June 3
The Italian government plans to lift restrictions on movement between regions, as well as on entering and exiting the country, starting June 3, according to a statement published on the Cabinet's press website.
Italy significantly restricted movement within and between regions in mid-March. As of May 18, there will be no restrictions on movement within regions.
Travel between Vatican City, San Marino, and surrounding regions will also be permitted. At the same time, the government confirmed the ban on movement for individuals quarantined due to COVID-19 and those in contact with them.
