Bishops Demand the Removal of Archbishop Arshak Khachatryan, Bishop Narek Avagyan Refuses to Sign

A group of bishops and archbishops has issued a statement demanding the removal of Archbishop Arshak Khachatryan from the Mother See. Among the bishops is the leader of the Aragatsotn Diocese, His Grace Bishop Narek Avagyan, whose name is absent from the signature list.

Radar Armenia contacted Bishop Narek Avagyan for clarification on why his name was included in the statement despite his lack of signature. The bishop stated that he did not sign the document and does not intend to do so, emphasizing, "My name is listed, but I have not signed it." Regarding the inclusion of his name in the list, Bishop Narek Avagyan mentioned that he has no information about it.
