Trump Calls Washington Shootings an 'Act of Terrorism'

US President Donald Trump has described the attack on National Guard soldiers in Washington as an act of terrorism and a crime against humanity.

“This despicable attack was an act of evil, hatred, and terrorism. It is a crime against our entire nation. It is a crime against humanity,” Trump said.

According to Trump, the Department of Homeland Security has determined that the suspect entered the United States from Afghanistan in 2021.
