Pashinyan Meets with a Group of Bishops
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, held a meeting with a group of bishops. "I had an important meeting with a group of bishops of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church," wrote Pashinyan.
A video shared on Pashinyan's social media shows Archbishop Navasart Kchoyan, the leader of the Ararat Diocese, Abraham Srbuhi, the leader of the Vayots Dzor Diocese, Archbishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan of the Armenian Diocese of the Baltic States, Bishop Anushavan Danielyan, the leader of the Artsakh Diocese, Archbishop Vrtanes Srbuhi, Archbishop Gevorg Srbuhi of the Masisatsotn Diocese, and Artak Srbuhi, along with Archbishop Arakel Karamyan of the Kotayk Diocese, meeting with Pashinyan.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that he was planning to meet with a group of high-ranking clergy, following a controversial statement that was circulated on social media today on their behalf. Pashinyan made this statement during a press briefing, just minutes before a statement was published on one of the Telegram channels.
