Number of High Earners in Armenia Increases

In Armenia, the number of individuals receiving high salaries has increased. This was reported by the Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, during a government meeting.

Papoyan informed that the number of employees earning over 2 million drams has risen by 1,338 in October of this year compared to the same month last year. He noted that the number of those earning between 500,000 and 2 million drams has increased by 12,556, which constitutes a 14.3 percent increase. “The number of people earning between 150,000 and 500,000 drams has also risen by 24,684 or 7.8 percent,” said Papoyan. Meanwhile, he mentioned that the number of employees earning less than 150,000 drams has decreased by 7,655.
