World's Strongest Woman Stripped of Title After Being Revealed as Transgender

American athlete Jamie Bucher has been stripped of her title as the "World's Strongest Woman" after it was revealed that she was born male. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

Bucher won in the women's category at the Official Strongman Games held in Arlington, Texas, from November 20-23. However, a few days later, the organizers disqualified her, stating that she violated the competition rules, which require athletes to compete in categories corresponding to their biological sex at birth.

“A competitor who is biologically male but now identifies as female participated in this category. The event officials were unaware of this fact prior to the competition, and we immediately launched an investigation once we received this information. Had we known in advance, she would not have been allowed to compete in the women's category,” said the organizers in a statement on Instagram.

According to them, the rule violation necessitates automatic disqualification, resulting in the annulment of Bucher's victory and a review of the results.
