Significant Price Increase Observed in Armenia in October
In Armenia, the 12-month inflation rate for October 2025 has reached 3.7%, with a month-on-month increase of 0.3%. This information has been reported by the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the presented figures, inflation in Armenia has remained above the upper limit of the Central Bank's target (3 ± 1%) in recent months. This is attributed to moderate price increases for certain goods as well as rising prices in the service sector.
Among widely consumed products, sunflower oil has seen the highest price rise over the year, increasing by 18.6%, followed by coffee, which increased by 12.6%. The price growth in these categories has been influenced by global price increases. Butter has also seen a price rise of 12.3%.
In October 2025, compared to October 2024, the price of bread rose by 3.5%, and flour prices increased by 6.0%. In October 2025, compared to September, consumer prices rose by 0.1-0.6%, with relatively high inflation reported in the cities of Gyumri and Yeghegnadzor. In Yerevan, prices increased by 0.3%.
From January to October 2025, the average monthly increase in consumer prices was 0.1%, whereas the same period last year saw a decrease of 0.1%.
