Part of Ukraine's territory “may transition to Russia in one way or another” in the coming months. This was stated by U.S. President Donald Trump, according to Reuters.

He added that security guarantees for Ukraine are being discussed with Europeans.

Recently, Trump had designated Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, as the day he wished to see Ukraine agree to a deal that would end the war being waged by Russia in Ukraine. However, he has since retracted that deadline, expressing a desire to reach an agreement as soon as possible.

“For me, the deadline expires when all of this is over,” Trump noted.
