No Question of Leaving CSTO on Agenda, Says Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister

There is currently no question of Armenia exiting the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) on the agenda of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This was stated by Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan during a press briefing.

According to Safaryan, Armenia has publicly announced its format of participation. The official position from Yerevan is that it is not participating in the activities of the CSTO at this time, but it also does not obstruct the decision-making and document adoption processes of the organization.

The Deputy Foreign Minister noted that the Armenian side remains consistent in its position and continues to assess the effectiveness of the CSTO and its relevance.
