It Was Just a Map: The U.S. 28-Point Plan for Ukraine Peace Shortened

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that Washington's plan for resolving the Ukraine conflict has been revised and shortened from 28 points to 22. In a conversation with reporters, he noted that the initial version of the plan was excessively favorable to Russia, a concern raised by several Republicans.

According to Trump, the document did not initially represent a final version of the plan. “It was just a map, it was not a plan. It was a concept,” he emphasized.

The U.S. president added that in the revision, “very favorable” solutions for the 22 points have been found, and now it remains to follow further developments. He did not elaborate on which points had been altered or what new approaches had been included.
