Israeli Military Launches Large-Scale Operation in Northern West Bank

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and the Security Agency have initiated a large-scale anti-terror operation in the northern West Bank. “The IDF and Shin Bet will not allow terrorism to take root in the area and are actively operating to prevent it,” reads a joint statement.

Since the start of the war in Gaza in October 2023, the Israeli army has intensified assaults in the West Bank. As a result of attacks by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank, over 1,000 Palestinians have been killed, and around 11,000 have been injured. More than 20,000 people have been arrested.
