The motion to discontinue the criminal prosecution was presented on behalf of Prosecutor Peter Skandalakis. According to the document, “Georgia, represented by Prosecutor Peter Skandalakis, has decided to file a motion to dismiss the case after carefully reviewing the case materials, relevant legislation, and judicial practice, in order to protect the interests of justice and ensure the finality of the court's decision.”
