Azerbaijan's Transport Minister Announces Completion Date for Railway Section to Armenian Border

The construction of the "Zangezur Corridor," which has an annual capacity of up to 15 million tons, is actively ongoing, announced Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev.

He noted that the construction of the railway section leading to the Aghbend border with Armenia will be completed by 2026.

"Azerbaijan is simultaneously working on the construction of a railway section approximately 200 kilometers long passing through Nakhchivan. The design of this line is now complete, and construction will begin soon," Nabiyev stated.
