Witness to Vladimir Gasparyan's Case to be Summoned

According to the daily newspaper "Zhoghovurd", the Anti-Corruption Court is set to summon one of the witnesses in the case of former Armenian police chief Vladimir Gasparyan.

It has been reported that the witness is former police employee Vahan Sargsyan. It is important to note that there are four defendants in this case: Vladimir Gasparyan, Levon Yeranosyan, Vardan Tunyan, and Gurgen Grigoryan. They have been placed under preventive measures, including signing an agreement not to leave.

Vladimir Gasparyan has been charged under Article 179, Part 3, Clause 1 of the Criminal Code (Misappropriation or waste in particularly large amounts - 2 episodes) and Article 308, Part 2 (Abuse of official power which has negligently caused serious consequences - 2 episodes).

Levon Yeranosyan has been charged under Article 179, Part 3, Clause 1, Article 314, Part 1 (Official forgery), and Article 308, Part 2. Vardan Tunyan faces charges under Article 38-308, Part 2 and Article 179, Parts 2, Clauses 1 and 3. Gurgen Grigoryan has been charged under Article 38-308, Part 2.
