Active Negotiations Ongoing for Armenia-Azerbaijan Peace Agreement: Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Negotiations for the signing of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan are ongoing, but there is no specific timeline for the signing of the agreement. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Mnatsakan Safaryan, during a briefing with journalists.
The Deputy Minister noted that communication between the parties continues. Addressing the issue of the demarcation process, he added that it is being carried out at the level of the leaders of the demarcation commissions of the two countries.
“We always disseminate all the information regarding what is happening in the process through announcements,” Safaryan emphasized, underscoring that the work has not stopped. In response to a question from journalists about whether the demarcation will continue in Syunik, Safaryan replied that if there are developments, a message will definitely be issued.
