The Entire Data Base of HETC for 2018-2024 Has Been Deleted, Says Romanos Petrosyan

During a working meeting between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the interim manager of Armenian Electric Networks, Romanos Petrosyan, it was reported that the entire data base of HETC for the years 2018-2024 has been deleted. According to the information presented, this incident has been concealed from both law enforcement agencies and the Public Services Regulatory Commission, which has been assessed as a serious violation.

Romanos Petrosyan stated that this is one of the six main points based on which the company has been stripped of its license. He noted that in several instances, the energy produced by autonomous electricity producers from solar plants was not registered correctly, meaning that producers were feeding more electricity into the grid than was calculated and paid for.

Petrosyan added that state and community structures formed large groups against which surcharges have been implemented. In recent days, arrests have been made based on these facts. According to him, the total volume of surcharges exceeds several million kWh.
