New Data on the Crash of the AZAL Aircraft Revealed

New data regarding the crash of the AZAL aircraft has emerged. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Transport of Kazakhstan, Maksat Kaliyakparov, during a briefing.

"This investigation is ongoing at this time. The first preliminary results were fully presented to the relevant commission three months later. Now, a deeper investigation is being carried out. There are many complex examinations and intricate work involved. In the end, as with the previous report, everything will be presented to the media in full. As for deadlines, we cannot say anything at this moment," he stated.

It should be recalled that earlier Azerbaijani media published an anonymous letter and audio recordings indicating that the Russian side ordered the aircraft to be shot down. Specifically, the letter contained explanations from the anti-aircraft defense captain, who claimed that the aircraft was fired upon by order of the Russian Ministry of Defense, along with videos, audio recordings, and details about the improper condition of the aircraft.
