Medvedev Advises to 'Hang Ursula' After US Deal

Following the signing of a trade agreement between US President Donald Trump and the European Union, ordinary Europeans should 'storm' Brussels and 'hang crazy old lady Ursula'. This was announced by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, on his Telegram channel.

The politician pointed out that this agreement is only beneficial for the US and humiliating for Europeans, as it removes the protection of the EU market by eliminating tariffs on American goods. Additionally, the agreement between von der Leyen and Trump, as noted by Medvedev, redirects the strong flow of investments from Europe to the US and creates extra costs for expensive American energy in many EU countries.

In conclusion, Medvedev asserted that it is now only possible to sympathize with the Europeans. He advised them to punish all European commissioners, including von der Leyen, who participated in the signing of this agreement.

It should be noted that on July 28, the US and the EU signed a trade agreement under which Brussels agreed to purchase $750 billion worth of American energy resources, boost investments by $600 billion, and buy American weapons. In return, Washington agreed to impose a 15% tariff on European goods instead of 30%.
